I find it amazing how simple things make people’s day. The little things we don’t ask for, yet hope for. Such as a smile, a stranger holding a door for you, speaking with someone you haven’t in a long time. I was having a bad day and on my routine to going home, which was taking a public transportation. We all heard that bell chime in, which meant one of two things: something wrong was happening, or to expect delays. Instead we got the following: “Happy Friday, you made it. Today’s weather consist of..” and so on. Immediately, I had a smile on my face. I looked up, and saw that I was the only one smiling. But I knew, I know it all made their day. The place was filled with workers, parents, children, I knew it made their day. Having people do something they don’t have to do, but chose to anyway, makes my day. I don’t know if any of this made sense, but that’s my attempt to sharing.
