Dan Brown’s career is threatened.
The Expected One is a thrilling Magdalene literature! Spoiler Alert.
My Ridiculously Simplified Synopsis: Jesus was a Sex God.
After I read this, I’m on the verge of shouting that this is indeed possible. Possible because the author, Kathleen McGowan, is saying that she’s a descendant to the Royal Bloodline of Mary Magdalene.
The notions and assertions in this book are indeed riveting, like:
- Judas did not really betray Jesus, he was told to hand over Christ to prevent bloodshed.
- Peter didn’t really deny Jesus, the denial was an order, not a prophecy, he was told to deny, because if he did not, he will be killed, and no one will continue His teachings.
- This also entails the concept of Jesus and Magdalene as a couple. Not only that, the wedding in Cana, where Jesus turned 5 barrels of water into wine, was actually the wedding of Magdalene and John the Baptist. Yes, they are married through the influence of the Pharisees who didn’t want Christ to be the Messiah.
I think I’m already blurting out everything. Read the book and be enlightened of all the possibilities which may be hidden forever in our doubtful history. History is not what happened, it is what was written.
